Wop Wop Wah Wah - Dunlop Cry Baby GCB-95 or Vox 847
In keeping with my Rural Delivery theme for Dexter Mod pedals I call this the Wop Wop Wah Wah.
We all seek the vintage wah sound but the GCB-95 wah pedals simply don’t deliver. They need to be converted to true bypass to remove their tone sucking prowess and the circuit benefits from being modded to different specs.
Gain and bass response is increased.
Volume boost mod applied.
Vocal mod to give more vocal quality to the wah.
There is a midrange boost and changes the values of capacitor to the specs of the Dunlop Jimi Hendrix Wah.
